We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to join our team. As a GNA with Fabulous Healthcare Staffing Agency, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of elderly patients by providing high-quality care and support. You will work under the supervision of licensed nurses to assist with daily living activities, monitor patient health, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents in long-term care facilities.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with feeding and meal preparation, as needed
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Help residents with mobility and transfer activities, using proper lifting techniques and assistive devices
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Adhere to all healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations
- Valid certification as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with elderly individuals preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
