Description
We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Caregivers to provide assistance and support to individuals in need of home care services. The Caregiver will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
- Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and client observations.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care and client well-being.
- Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in healthcare or related field preferred.
- Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or personal care assistant preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if required for the position).
- Ability to pass background checks and screenings as required by state regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
